My family chose SmartSwim for a large project involving building a pool and spa surrounded by pavers and turf – all from scratch. Sam, Nate, Ofir, and Alex handled all the obstacles that are inevitable in such projects with great professionalism and personal care, ultimately delivering my family an incredible backyard paradise that we will enjoy for decades.

I don’t write a lot of reviews on yelp, but working with Adam and Smart Swim on our pool renovation was so exceptional that I want others to benefit from our experience. From the very beginning Adam was fun to be around, professional and genuinely enthusiastic about the project. He showed up right on time for our initial appointment, listened closely to what we wanted and was able to present us with a variety of options depending on our budget. At no point was there any attempt to upsell us and in fact, he suggested that we could save money on the project if we wanted to restore our existing tile rather than replace it. My wife and I were both impressed but figured we should meet with other contractors as well. In retrospect we could’ve saved our time and gone with Smart Swim right away.

I can’t say enough great things about Nate and Ofir! We spoke with Nate about the project initially and periodically would hear from him, but we mostly worked with his project manager, Ofir, but Ofir is a reflection of Nate, and he is wonderful! And when we needed Nate, he was always accessible.

Between the two of them, they always answered our questions, even at odd hours of the day/night. They even helped us with some additional problems that needed fixing. Their crew was always respectful of our property and never left trash behind. We also never worried that people weren’t going to show back up. And again, Ofir is probably one of the most respectful, kind people I’ve ever interacted with. He listens, is patient, and has a way about him that is calming, even if he’s delivering less-than-desirable news that has nothing to do with their work (like that a gas pipe is leaking because it’s ancient and needs to be replaced).

Nate, the owner, personally visited our home for a detailed consultation. He patiently listened to our concerns about minimizing disruption to my elderly mother’s routine, ensuring a decision without pressure.

I also want to mention Evelyn. She was incredibly understanding and supportive during out telephone conversations and text messages. We have a lot of anxieties about making the right decision for our mom and she handled them all with warmth and professionalism.

He was very kind and professional on the phone with me. He gave me some great advice while I told him my options. Most importantly is that he listened to my issues and concerns.

Nate did an amazing job getting our pool built. We had an old vinyl liner pool that was leaking and him and his crew demolished it all and built a new concrete pool with micro pebble that looks great, and we actually want to use. We added a spa too and that alone has to be the best decision. Nate worked with us on the shape and slightly different design than typical, and was super responsive throughout the whole job. He supervised every step of the job, and was here doing some of the work himself when needed.

Nate also did our patio area with pavers and made sure the whole look tied perfectly to the house.

I have already recommended him a few times and will do so again!

This pool company is a dream! Very transparent. Sam the designer is super smart and gives the best advice. His team is fast and tidy and friendly. Nice to see such a well oiled machine. I would of been lost without Sam 🙂 my pool is gorgeous and under budget!

We are so happy with Smart Swim! We met Nate through a random encounter at the pool supply store and what a stroke of luck it was! After getting lots of quotes to redo our pool and remaining indecisive for months we decided we’d take a chance on Smart Swim. They were competitive in their bid and never tried to upsell us. They worked fast and efficiently and we are beyond happy with their work. Hiring anyone unknown is always unnerving but Nate came through in spades! I can’t recommend him enough!

Our backyard was in desperate need of a face lift, from the old, grungy brick hardscape to the cracked pool. Our yard was basically unusable and so unattractive that we usually kept the curtains closed when people came over so they couldn’t see the disaster in the back.

Nate was the first contractor we called and despite getting cheaper bids from others, we stuck with Nate in the end. He’s friendly, organized and when our budget needed some adjusting, he was willing to lower his bid to get the job. We’re glad he did.

From start to finish, everything went smoothly. Zero complaints.

Nate and his team demolished almost our entire backyard. And what we’re left with now is some kind of backyard oasis that we can be proud of. A day hasn’t gone by so far where we haven’t gone out back. And you can bet those curtains are fully open so everyone can see our nice, clean backyard.
